Hi kids!
I hope you are having fun in this snow!! I have an assignment for you! I have
taken 3 photos of arrays in my house. Go grab your
mom or dad's cell phone, tablet, camera, whatever and walk around and
take some photos of some arrays in your house. You will be surprised of how many
arrays are around you! Here are some examples to get you started.... panes in a
window, ice cube trays, crayons in a crayon box, even the round bumps on top of a
Lego! Have your parents email your pics and I will upload them onto our class
website so everyone can see them!! Have fun! Remember that an
array is an organized arrangement of objects, usually in rows
and columns to make counting and adding easier (and yes, in 3rd grade
multiplying!).
